It’s a new year, and you’re ready for a new and improved you—or at least that’s the boat I’m in. I spent way too much time indoors last year, ate way too many baked goods, and Netflix binged my way through way too many shows. 2020 has left me feeling a little lackluster, and I need to rev up my motivation to get back to feeling like me again.
Whatever resolution path you plan to stroll down, Aroma Retail’s Mood Collection has got your back.
Being in the house all day while wearing stretchy pants and having loaves of freshly baked bread at my disposal have landed “wellness” at the top of my list. If you’re also in need of a lift to your determination to hit an online workout group or to download a new diet monitoring app, the Wellness Fragrance is your secret weapon with notes of clean citrus and ready-made willpower. So breathe deep, get motivated and conquer those wellness goals!
I always feel a little distracted after the holidays with what I like to refer to as “holiday whiplash” from my attention constantly shifting from one activity to another. Cards, cooking, shopping, wrapping, planning, decorating - even listing all these things is enough to make my head spin. The first step toward successful goals for any resolution is a focus. The citrusy and earthy notes of the Focus Fragrance can help stimulate your brain back to the laser-focus you need.
Last year, stress was the name of the game, and it’s time for a change! Put your feet up and unwind in your comfort zone with the powdery, floral notes of the Comfort Fragrance. Let its soothing scent lull you back into a place of chill.
There are many artistic souls out there with aspirations to write a book, finish a screenplay, take up a new craft or hobby, or start painting. Or maybe you’re facing another quarter of distance learning and want to charge up the curriculum with artistic fun. Whatever your imaginative pull is for 2021, the delicate perfume of wildflowers and sea salt will get your creative juices going.
Are you feeling sluggish after the holidays? You’re not alone. Time off from work, cookies, Hallmark Christmas movies—it is so easy to slide into the cozy routine of relaxation and delicious culinary delights. But with January comes a need for improvement and the invigorating scent of cedarwood, eucalyptus and the additional uplifting aromas of the Energy Fragrance will get you back on track.
Is meditation on your 2021 resolution list? If so, we have the perfect thing for finding inner peace and centering yourself. Take a deep breath and revel in the serene scents of ginger and balsam in the Meditation Fragrance to encourage more mindful awareness.
The best way to face anything new is with confidence and 2021 is no exception. Strike your power pose, breathe in the bold aroma of berry and musk of the Confidence Fragrance and get ready to take on the new year one bold stride at a time.
The post-holiday funk is a real thing. Something about the hype of the holidays coming to an end, that empty spot where the Christmas tree and all those decorations used to be and the realization that you can no longer have pecan pie for breakfast can be a real downer. Turn that frown upside down with the Happiness Fragrance and let the gentle, warm notes of hazelnut and sandalwood ease your blues away.
Whatever is on your resolution list, Aroma Retail’s Mood Collection will have you on the right track for success. This is your year!
A new you emerges from the ashes of 2020, smelling garden-fresh like Caesars Palace The Empire. Rose petals sift over you, soft where they brush against your skin and leaving the air perfumed with their heady scent. That smell is one of victory, of knowing you have the fortitude to face whatever life throws your way.
You stroll over the stone walkway edged with marble statues. You are among greatness in this new year, with a chance to accomplish anything you set your heart to. Water from a fountain sprinkles over a pool, and the blue sky opens wide overhead, limitless with possibilities for what the new year can bring.
The previous year is left behind you, and everything in front of you is ripe with aspirations that bloom with the same beauty as the roses framing either side of your path. You breathe in the luscious perfume and let it rev up your motivation until victory is pulsing in your veins as surely as it is all around you. It starts in your chest like a war drum in thumping beats and spirals out into your limbs with a heat that makes your muscles burn for action.
You don’t want to walk on that path anymore. You want to sprint toward everything you ever knew you could attain. And at the end, waiting up on a pedestal, is a golden laurel wreath, a symbol of triumph just as the roses have become one of victory. It is your destiny in this new year.
Your body glides with the ease of a warrior. Your breathing is even despite your exertions, relishing the clean, sweet fragrance in the air that leads you toward the pedestal. No one stands in your way as you reach for the glint of gold, warm from the sun against your fingers, as you claim it and affix it to your head. All around you, cheers rise, rife with celebration and joy.
The victory you have won is shared by all, indicative of an optimistic year in which we all can succeed. You’re handed a bouquet of the very flowers that guided your way to this achievement, a bundle of roses—some tightly budded, others in full bloom, each one richly aromatic. People crowd around you, wanting to be close, wanting to part of your victory, because this year will not only be better for you but everyone. It’s a clean slate where anything can be written.
The floral notes of the roses mingle with other scents in the garden: jasmine, lily of the valley, orange, cedarwood, a hint of amber. All of these come together to create the sheer perfection of Caesars Palace The Empire Scent. It is as symbolic as the laurel wreath on your head and the statues in the garden. It is the smell of hope and a promising start.
Go forth into 2021 with the confidence of a good year, and don’t just carpe diem, carpe annum—after all, why have a day when you seize an entire year?

Candy canes are a holiday basic for both religious and secular celebrations. Whether you eat them, hang them on the tree, tie them onto packages, or stick them into mugs of hot cocoa, there's no replacement for this red and white striped treat. Our Candy Cane Christmas scent captures fresh clean peppermint, the creamy vanilla of fresh-baked cookies, and the richness of poinsettia and winter jasmine for a luxe wintry combination.

Christmas as a couple, surrounded by college kids studying at home this year, or coworkers has never smelled so lovely.
Nothing drowns the family around a holiday table like the sweet, buttery, flaky richness of baked things fresh from the oven. Diffuse a lighthearted, yet luxurious, fragrance that goes so much deeper than your average cinnamon broom.
You'll want to stock up on soy-wax candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays - or better yet, our Mix & Match Gift Sets. Everyone will be asking you what this delicious smell is. After all, this ingredient list looks more like a recipe!
Our Pomegranate & Sage scent is the one you'll look forward to diffusing early at the end of each summer and switching out last at the start of spring. Christmas Aroma - There is an abundance of delightful scents around the holidays, and each seems to elicit fun memories and happy feelings. This year, we are not having my parents come for Christmas, so I’ll be surprising them with a care box. In it, I’ll be including a little bit of Happy Holidays Fragrance, so they can smell those spicy warm notes of cinnamon and clove and feel as though they have been transported back to our house as they’re making cookies and opening presents. This is absolutely my favorite time of year, and many smells bring the best sort of memories to mind. These are some of the scents that inspire me.
Candy Cane Christmas Fragrance
First is Candy Cane Christmas aroma, a sweet, minty holiday fragrance that smells like the decadent joy of eating a candy cane.
But for me, it’s not just eating the candy that I enjoy every year, but making little reindeer out of them. Years ago, my daughters started doing this for their teachers and friends by twisting brown pipe cleaners into antlers at the top of the cheerful white-and-red striped canes and gluing on pom-pom noses and googly eyes. It’s a tradition that still continues today. So, for me, those peppermint notes of Candy Cane Christmas smell like creative fun and little girl giggles and never fails to bring a smile to my face.
Winter Woods Fragrance
Then, of course, there is the tree to decorate. Winter Woods brings the crisp, refreshing scent of pine and fresh snow, like so many years of decorating with a real tree. It reminds me of going to a tree lot on a chilly afternoon, where the air is filled with the fresh smell of pine and picking the perfect tree. Then, bringing it home and watching with excitement as the net is cut and the branches splay out in their full glory.
After bringing the loveliness of it to life with a few strings of lights, there’s nothing like playing holiday music as you unbox all the ornaments from years past. One of the things I enjoy most is seeing how excited my daughters get when they recognize an ornament that holds a fond memory for them and how eager they are to share the story, even though it’s likely one we hear every year.
Now, as many others have, we have switched to a fake tree. The lure of instant lights, a base that needs no adjusting and no water bowl to keep pets out of, is just too irresistible. The wonderful thing about Winter Woods Fragrance is that it brings back that crisp pine scent to our house and makes it feel like we have a real tree again. Just one that is way easier and doesn’t require constant vacuuming.
To me, Winter Woods Fragrance smells like a bundle of amazing family memories from the past that roll into the present, time and time again, every year. And like having a real Christmas tree without all the mess.
Happy Holidays Fragrance
Then there is the Happy Holidays Fragrance. This is my particular go-to scent overall for the holidays. The underlying aroma of gingerbread from the cinnamon and clove recalls those fun, silly baking sessions with my family as we make several types of cookies. The gentle notes of pine give our Christmas tree even more magic. This fragrance is the perfect accompaniment for wrapping presents, baking cookies, having holiday parties (bonus: all those great compliments you’ll receive on how good your house smells) and then, of course, the anticipation of Christmas morning. Once I breathe in the familiar scents of spice, pine and citrus, I know it’s officially Christmas, and my family does too.
Happy Holidays Fragrance smells like time-honored traditions and the excitement of seeing how happy those you love are with the gifts you’ve carefully selected for them. It’s mulled wine and spiced cookies and an overall sense of warmth when the outside is chilly.
To me, it’s the epitome of the holidays.
Regardless of what Christmas aroma you choose* for the holiday season, I hope it is as happy and filled with many joyful memories. Happy Holidays!

Warwick Hotels’ Scent Fresh White Tea Light and clean with top notes of Silver Needle Point Tea, Frosted Bergamot, White Tea Blooms; mid notes of Ginger Lily, White Tea Leave Petals, Pekoe Tea; and base notes of Mate Musk, Mahogany Wood, Teakwood.
William Randolph Hearst built the Warwick New York in 1926 for $5 million. Long catering to the elite, Hearst built the 36-story residential tower to accommodate his Hollywood friends as well as his mistress, the actress Marion Davies, who had her own specially-designed floor in the building.
The hotel's restaurant, Murals on 54, features the 1937 murals of American illustrator Dean Cornwell. The famed murals were fully restored following a 2004 renovation of the restaurant. The Warwick is also home to Randolph's Bar & Lounge, whose rosebud leitmotif references Hearst's purported nickname for Marion Davies.
The owner of the Warwick New York is Warwick Hotels and Resorts, which was founded in 1980 with the purchase of this hotel by its chairman, Richard Chiu.
Venetian’s Scent Arancia A sunny Mediterranean blend of Orange, Lemon, Apple Blossom, Ginger Flower, Geranium, Orange Flower, Clove and Nutmeg with top notes of Lemon, Orange, Pear, Apple Blossom, Ginger Flower; mid notes of Ylang, Carnation, Geranium, Orange Flower; and base notes of Clove, Nutmeg, Musk.
The resort opened on May 3, 1999, with flutter of white doves, sounding trumpets and singing gondoliers. Actress Sophia Loren joined Adelson, the chairman and owner, in dedicating the first motorized gondola. Built at a cost of $1.5 billion, it was one of the most expensive resorts of its kind when it opened.
On June 27, 2003, the 1,013-room Venezia Tower opened. It was built on top of the garage parking lot.
In 2004, the Venetian agreed to pay a $1 million penalty to settle a 12-count Gaming Control Board complaint. One of the 12 complaints alleged the hotel had held a drawing for a Mercedes-Benz that was rigged to be won by a high roller who had lost a large amount in the casino. The executives involved were fired.
In 2010, it was announced that it will be affiliated with InterContinental Hotels Group. In October 2011, the Cantor Race & Sportsbook opened, which was the only Las Vegas sportsbook that was open 24 hours a day. On June 11, 2012, the Venetian opened Carnevale, a summer-long festival that is anchored by a nightly 3-D projection show on the clock tower.
Vdara’s Scent Green Fig Beautiful green freshness accomplished with a very complex blend of year-round elements. Top notes of Green Leaves, Fig, Cassis, Bergamot, Pear, Basil, Cardamom, Lime, Pine, and Mandarin; with very subtle middle notes of Jasmine, Cyclamen, Lily of the Valley, Clove, and Violet; finished for a smooth delivery with even more subtle Cedarwood, Coconut, Oakmoss, and Sandalwood.
Vdara was the first of six projects to be completed as part of the $8.5 billion CityCenter complex. Vdara's opening on December 1, 2009 was followed by The Crystals, a retail shopping center; Mandarin Oriental and Aria Resort & Casino in the same month. Prior to its opening, Vdara was designated as a LEED Gold award building and received a five-key rating from the Green Key Eco-Rating Program. Designed by Rafael Viñoly of RV Architecture, LLC, Vdara's 57-story crescent-shaped structure is formed by three parallel, offset arcs of varying heights. Because of its staggered arc design, Vdara contains six corner suites per floor, compared to four in a conventional building. The curvature of the building was designed as complementary to the arcs of Aria Resort & Casino, which is located across a shared circular driveway.
Valley View Casino’s Scent Exotic Moods – Bold blend of Cypress, Cedar, Sandalwood and Nutmeg with a bright accent of Lemon and Vetiver with top notes of Nutmeg, Cardamom, Cypress, Vetiver; mid notes of Lemon, Cedarwood, Woody Accord; and base notes of Sandalwood, Amber, Musk.
The San Pasqual Band is a part of Southern California's Kumeyaay Nation, a people that originated thousands of years ago as seasonal hunters and gatherers in the area.
The original San Pasqual reservation was approved in 1870 by President Ulysses S. Grant. It encompassed 92,000 acres and spanned from Ramona to Mount Woodson and Highland Valley to Lake Wohlford. However, in 1901, many of the indigenous people were evicted when the U.S. Supreme Court failed to uphold Indian land rights treaties established with the Mexican government. In 1903, the government purchased land and moved some of the Kumeyaay there, but in 1910, several reservations were expanded, including San Pasqual's.
Today, the reservation is comprised of five separate, noncontiguous tracts in the rolling hills of Valley Center. The San Pasqual Band is proud of its heritage and history as well as the role its members play in the local community.
Trump Towers’ Scent Golden Bamboo is a luxurious, fresh and clean blend of Bamboo Woods, Crisp Bergamot, Melon Rind, and Green Floral notes. Top notes of Green Bamboo, Bergamot, and Cucumber; mid notes of Turkish Rose, Jasmine, and Water Lily; and base notes of Bamboo Reeds, and Balsam.
Trump Tower is a 58-floor, 664-foot-tall (202 m) mixed-use skyscraper at 721–725 Fifth Avenue, between 56th and 57th Streets, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Trump Tower serves as the headquarters for the Trump Organization. Additionally, it houses the penthouse condominium residence of the building's namesake and developer, U.S. president Donald Trump, who is also a businessman and real estate developer. Several members of the Trump family also live, or have resided, in the building. The tower stands on a plot where the flagship store of department-store chain Bonwit Teller was formerly located.
Der Scutt of Poor, Swanke, Hayden & Connell designed Trump Tower, and Trump and the Equitable Life Assurance Company (now the AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company) developed it. Although it is in one of Midtown Manhattan's special zoning districts, the tower was approved because it was to be built as a mixed-use development. Trump was permitted to add more stories to the tower because of the atrium on the ground floor. There were controversies during construction, including the destruction of historically important sculptures from the Bonwit Teller store; Trump's alleged underpaying of contractors; and a lawsuit that Trump filed because the tower was not tax-exempt.
Construction on the building began in 1979. The atrium, apartments, offices, and stores opened on a staggered schedule from February to November 1983. At first, there were few tenants willing to move in to the commercial and retail spaces; the residential units were sold out within months of opening. Since 2016, the tower has seen a large increase in visitation because of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and subsequent election—both his 2016 and 2020 campaigns were headquartered in the tower.
The W’s Scent SLS Fragrance – A Rich Creamy blend of Oregold Peach, Pink Grapefruit and White Currant layered on top of exotic Passion Flower, White Iris and golden Sandalwood with top notes of Oregold Peach, Grapefruit, White Currant; mid notes of Passion Flower, Cape Jasmine, White Iris; and base notes of Creamy Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Musk.
The earlier W's in the U.S. were cutting edge renovations of existing hotels within the Starwood group. Replacing the lobby with the "living room" concept, where guests could gather at the bar, differed from the traditional hotel. Although W receives credit for the idea, the underlying concept was once common. In the 1800s, the lobby provided a social gathering point in most communities. In earlier eras, the bar was often unseparated from the lobby. However, the aspirational, stylish, modern, and very strong design identity was W's unique feature. In 2001, Starwood added W New York - Times Square, a design model for the rapid expansion of properties in the United States over the next decade.
In following new trends, the challenge was to find the right balance between style, newness, attitude and profitability. Guests sought more than the cookie-cutter styles that had previously defined luxury and branded properties. The edgy W brand evolved with consumers. The demographics of early guests steered the W’s rise into the luxury hotel tier. It incorporated popular culture, contemporary design, and a certain casual irreverent attitude.
