3: Do you have to clean the machine's canister between oil refills?
No, you can just empty the old oil and add the new oil. Canisters may need to be cleaned if they have sat dry for a while. You can also purchase replacement canisters here
4: Do you have extra canisters to store scents
5: Can you schedule the Smart 101 to go off 1-2 times an hour
Rather than just spurt every once in a while like an aerosol, the machine maintains the scent by diffusing a certain number of seconds per minute, depending on the level of intensity. Try starting low and gradually increase to get the effect you are looking for. Another option is to set up multiple Events (you can set up 5 Events) to have more scent at different times.
6: Do i need an air switch kit ?
You would need an air switch kif if your ac doesn't come on at least a few times per day to push the fragrance out of the duct work and into the space. You would also want the air switch if you want to make sure you don't get too powerful of a scent boost when your ac turns on. Also, remember that scent goes where the air goes, so if your ac does not come on that often, you might be better off setting up the machine in the space and letting it just release the fragrance in an area that gets a little traffic or air circulation - the fragrance will move through the space from there.
7: Can the smart 101 connect to HVAC
It cannot push the scent through a tube into the HVAC system, but it can be placed in or near and intake (where you change your filters). Most often, it is best just to put it in the most open or trafficked area of your space and let the fragrance move through the space from there. Keep in mind that when you connect to HVAC, you are only scenting your space when your ac is running.
8: My machine is on but not diffusing, can I get a replacement?
We first need to do some troubleshooting steps. We need to know details, like feeling air pressure from the machine's nozzle, is the canister of the machine inserted the correct way, or is the machine scheduled to go off during that time?
9: My machine is leaking
The first thing to check is that you haven't tipped over the machine with oil inside, the machine will leak if that happens. Check to see if you've filled the canister too much (we recommend filling right under the bottle neck), next, most important, check that the canister is aligned and in the machine going to correct way. If the canister is inserted in the machine the wrong way, the machine can possibly leak. Checking all the parts of the canister is important, if the green o-rings on the blue canister for the 101 are broken or dry the machine can leak and make a mess.
10: How long can the tubing for the Pro Unit be?
No more than 4 feet; otherwise, there will be too much condensation in the tube before the fragrance makes it to the tip.

3: Shipping costs/ free shipping?
We do not mark up shipping costs. What you see is what it actually costs to send the product to you. We wish we could provide free shipping, but we would have to raise our prices like our competitors do.
4: How long will it take to get international orders?
We ship in 24 hours, then it's up to the carrier and the country's customs process. Canada and Europe are usually within a week or so, but it would be impossible to promise.
5:Are customs fees included with the shipping price?
No, customs fees are not added to the shipping costs on the website. They are a seperate charge through the carrier link

Our CEO developed the scents that the resorts use, and we produce the fragrance oil. We do not always service every hotel because there are other service companies that provide service using the same fragrance oil.
3: Are the scents authentic to the hotels?
Yes. we are the original developer of the fragrances that we carry that are used at the hotels.
4: Can you mix the scents?
Customers blend their own fragrances all the time by purchasing multiple fragrances from us. It works great on an individual scale, and we encourage it.
5: Are your oil refills okay to make candles with?
We make candles. If you want to make your own, you can try the fragrance oil refills and see how it turns out. We do have to make some formula adjustments to get the candles to turn out right, and those are trade secrets.
6: Going noseblind?
Fragrance test, or "you might like" at the bottom of that fragrance's product page, or just email care and ask for recommendations.
7: Do the oils work in a warmer?
yes. make sure it is not exposed to direct flame.
8: How do the sample blotters work?
Rip open the mylar packet, take out the blotter which is an oversized q-tip and wave it in front of your face.
9: Can I dilute the oils with water or alcohol, to make it less strong?
It's not recommended to do so, or it'll ruin the oil. The oils come ready to use, but incorporating air flow helps "dilute" the fragrance oils
1: Why can't my android connect?
For newer Androids phones (ex: Galaxy s24 and Galaxy s25, Google Pixel 8) due to a change in how wifi and data is managed, cellular data must be temporarily turned off in the settings during the Machine Setup Process or the app will have issue finding the Aroma Retail Scent Machine. This is currently being improved upon for a more inuitive connection experience.
2: Why is the oil consumption meter not accurate?
This will be removed off of the app because it will never be accurate without some sort of sensor in the machine. (list our recommended settings such as 8 hours a day, 7 days a week between 10-20% will make the oil last a month)
3: Can I only do Timed Runs or run machine for 1 day only?
Timed Runs are meant to temporarily run the machine for 10 - 50 minutes and overrides any of the set events while it is active. Currently, due to a bug, Machine Events can not be set for a single day, a minimum of two days must be selected in order for the Machine Event to be considered "Active". There will be an update for this.
4: How can I just set my dispensing time and if that will be a thing down the road?
This is currently not available in the Aroma Retail App if this feature is requested enough, it may make its way into the app flow
1: Can the gallon linen spray refill work in the machines?
No, you cannot and should not. They use different bases for their different applications.
2: Do you have wholesale discounts?
Yes we do (request only) 15smallbiz for orders under $999 and 20smallbiz for orders over $1,000
3: Do you rent out machines?
We only sell our Scent Machines. Renting is not possible because it prompts a contract, and our business model specifically excludes contracts.
4: Machine repair guidlines
Machines malfunctioning within the warranty period (14 days) get prepaid labels for repairs that care has confirmed. anything outside that time period can be repaired, but the customer is responsible for shipping the item back
5: Machine trade ins
Machines within a certain time frame can be eligible to trade it, care will confirm
6: Can i customize the susbcription renewal to 4-5 months?
No, with shopify the subscription renewal is monthly for the 4oz bottles of bimonthly for the 27 oz. you can skip a month on your subscription profile.
7: Can I clean unit with Soap & Water?
No, we recommend rubbing alcohol or cheap vodka. Soap and water will leave a residue.
8: Will the 4 and 27oz refills work to refill the reed diffusers and room sprays?
No, the refills for the machines are formulated differently, so they will not perform as refills for room sprays or reed diffusers
9. Clarification on subscription parameters
We currently have monthly and bi-monthly subscriptions. The 4oz Fragrance Oil and wax melt subscriptions are monthly and the 27oz Fragrance Oil is bi-monthly. You are able to pause your subscription at any time and skip a month if needed.
