Coupon Help: Where Is My Discount?

We offer MANY different ways to get a discount. Subscribing to our oil refills is the best deal available, but if you didn't want to do that, you can sign up for our mailing lists for monthly coupons. This guide will explain why your coupon might not be working and how to fix it immediately. After you try these solutions and your coupon still isn't working, contact us. We're here to help. Attach any screenshots with error messages to aid us diagnosing the issue.

Item(s) carted in wrong path (MOST COMMON)

When we have product-specific sales, this error usually happens. There is more than one way to cart an item and, because of these multiple paths, we have to funnel shoppers to the path that allows the coupon to be used. We always explain how these coupons work, make sure to follow the steps for your discount.

Solution: choose the PRODUCT first, then the FRAGRANCE. Always.

Here's an example of the WRONG way below. You want to buy 8oz of Great Pumpkin and you went
fragrances > Great Pumpkin > 8oz > add to cart. This path will not grant your discount.

Here's an example of the RIGHT way below. You want to buy 8oz of Great Pumpkin and you went
products > 8oz > Great Pumpkin > add to cart. This path will grant your discount.

You haven't reached a cart minimum

Some promotions require a minimum value before they can be used. If your discount isn't showing, it's because your cart isn't beefy enough. More than likely, the coupon will state a cart minimum. Otherwise, you'll discover at checkout that you need to spend a bit more before we can cut the price down.

Solution: add more items to your cart

There's an excluded item in your cart

During seasonal sales, we will commonly focus on a specific fragrance or a certain product. Make sure all carted items are eligible for price reduction. The checkout system may not stop you from ordering, but the subtotal price will not include the discount of the excluded item(s).

Solution: proceed to purchase without discount(s) OR remove ineligible item(s)

Coupon is expired

There come fun occasions where we like to drop flash sales on our mailing list subscribers. Just like when when we inform you that a sale begins, we will also tell you when it ends. Make sure to strike while the iron is hot, sometimes, we have a LIMITED amount of coupon uses. That's the fun in flash sales.

Solution: use your coupon while you can, it won't last forever.

Excluded shipping area

This mainly applies to region-specific sales, where we'll do a test or promote a product in targeted areas to gather data on buying habits. If a coupon was shared with you and doesn't work, it might be because of where you are buying from or where you are shipping to. No hard feelings though. It's not you, it's me.

Solution: please try another coupon, either the billing or shipping address entered is restricted.

Coupon doesn't work, I've tried EVERYTHING

The last solution we'll observe is a funny one. You've received a coupon, met all the conditions, carted using the CORRECT PATH, and it still doesn't work? Some discounts are revealed ahead of time, and we will give the coupon, the conditions, and the path...but it begins at a future date or time. Wait for it.

Solution: too soon, junior - your discount hasn't started yet.
