William Randolph Hearst built the Warwick New York in 1926 for $5 million. Long catering to the elite, Hearst built the 36-story residential tower to accommodate his Hollywood friends as well as his mistress, the actress Marion Davies, who had her own specially-designed floor in the building.

The hotel's restaurant, Murals on 54, features the 1937 murals of American illustrator Dean Cornwell. The famed murals were fully restored following a 2004 renovation of the restaurant. The Warwick is also home to Randolph's Bar & Lounge, whose rosebud leitmotif references Hearst's purported nickname for Marion Davies.

The owner of the Warwick New York is Warwick Hotels and Resorts, which was founded in 1980 with the purchase of this hotel by its chairman, Richard Chiu.

The Venetian Las Vegas is a luxury hotel and casino resort located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, United States, on the site of the old Sands Hotel. Designed by KlingStubbins, the hotel tower contains 36 stories and rises 475 feet. The Venetian is owned and operated by Las Vegas Sands. The Venetian also serves as the seat of the corporate headquarters for its parent company. In April 1996, Sheldon Adelson announced plans to create the largest resort on the Strip. This project would be situated on the former Sands property. On November 26, 1996, eight years after it was purchased by the owners of The Interface Group—Adelson, Richard Katzeff, Ted Cutler, Irwin Chafetz and Jordan Shapiro, the Sands Hotel was imploded to make way for The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. Groundbreaking for the hotel began on April 14, 1997.

The resort opened on May 3, 1999, with flutter of white doves, sounding trumpets and singing gondoliers. Actress Sophia Loren joined Adelson, the chairman and owner, in dedicating the first motorized gondola. Built at a cost of $1.5 billion, it was one of the most expensive resorts of its kind when it opened.

On June 27, 2003, the 1,013-room Venezia Tower opened. It was built on top of the garage parking lot.

In 2004, the Venetian agreed to pay a $1 million penalty to settle a 12-count Gaming Control Board complaint. One of the 12 complaints alleged the hotel had held a drawing for a Mercedes-Benz that was rigged to be won by a high roller who had lost a large amount in the casino. The executives involved were fired.

In 2010, it was announced that it will be affiliated with InterContinental Hotels Group. In October 2011, the Cantor Race & Sportsbook opened, which was the only Las Vegas sportsbook that was open 24 hours a day. On June 11, 2012, the Venetian opened Carnevale, a summer-long festival that is anchored by a nightly 3-D projection show on the clock tower.

Vdara
Vdara Hotel & Spa opened on December 1, 2009 as a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Infinity World Development.
The hotel’s name was thought up by the property’s original design-group: The “V” in Vdara stands for “Vegas” and “ara” is meant to evoke established high-end boutique hotels, such as the Aviara or Bacara. Vdara, designed by Rafael Vinoly of RV Architecture, LLC, is a condo-hotel, located between the Aria Resort & Casino and the Bellagio. Vdara's 57-story tower houses 1,495 units, ranging from 526 to 1,750 sq ft (48.9 to 162.6 m2). The Architect of Record was Leo A. Daly, while the Detroit-based firm Hamilton Anderson Associates was the Architect of Record for the interior guest rooms. Tishman Construction Corporation served as Construction Manager, and Perini Building Company was the project's General Contractor. Vdara was the first tower to open December 1, 2009. Vdara was the first of the six high rises in the project to be topped out on May 14, 2008.

Vdara was the first of six projects to be completed as part of the $8.5 billion CityCenter complex. Vdara's opening on December 1, 2009 was followed by The Crystals, a retail shopping center; Mandarin Oriental and Aria Resort & Casino in the same month. Prior to its opening, Vdara was designated as a LEED Gold award building and received a five-key rating from the Green Key Eco-Rating Program. Designed by Rafael Viñoly of RV Architecture, LLC, Vdara's 57-story crescent-shaped structure is formed by three parallel, offset arcs of varying heights. Because of its staggered arc design, Vdara contains six corner suites per floor, compared to four in a conventional building. The curvature of the building was designed as complementary to the arcs of Aria Resort & Casino, which is located across a shared circular driveway.

The San Pasqual Band is a part of Southern California's Kumeyaay Nation, a people that originated thousands of years ago as seasonal hunters and gatherers in the area.

The original San Pasqual reservation was approved in 1870 by President Ulysses S. Grant. It encompassed 92,000 acres and spanned from Ramona to Mount Woodson and Highland Valley to Lake Wohlford. However, in 1901, many of the indigenous people were evicted when the U.S. Supreme Court failed to uphold Indian land rights treaties established with the Mexican government. In 1903, the government purchased land and moved some of the Kumeyaay there, but in 1910, several reservations were expanded, including San Pasqual's.

Today, the reservation is comprised of five separate, noncontiguous tracts in the rolling hills of Valley Center. The San Pasqual Band is proud of its heritage and history as well as the role its members play in the local community.

Trump Towers
Trump Towers is a 64-story hotel, condominium, and timeshare located on Fashion Show Drive in Paradise, Nevada, US, named for real estate developer and then later the 45th and current President of the United States Donald Trump!

Trump Tower is a 58-floor, 664-foot-tall (202 m) mixed-use skyscraper at 721–725 Fifth Avenue, between 56th and 57th Streets, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Trump Tower serves as the headquarters for the Trump Organization. Additionally, it houses the penthouse condominium residence of the building's namesake and developer, U.S. president Donald Trump, who is also a businessman and real estate developer. Several members of the Trump family also live, or have resided, in the building. The tower stands on a plot where the flagship store of department-store chain Bonwit Teller was formerly located.

Der Scutt of Poor, Swanke, Hayden & Connell designed Trump Tower, and Trump and the Equitable Life Assurance Company (now the AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company) developed it. Although it is in one of Midtown Manhattan's special zoning districts, the tower was approved because it was to be built as a mixed-use development. Trump was permitted to add more stories to the tower because of the atrium on the ground floor. There were controversies during construction, including the destruction of historically important sculptures from the Bonwit Teller store; Trump's alleged underpaying of contractors; and a lawsuit that Trump filed because the tower was not tax-exempt.

Construction on the building began in 1979. The atrium, apartments, offices, and stores opened on a staggered schedule from February to November 1983. At first, there were few tenants willing to move in to the commercial and retail spaces; the residential units were sold out within months of opening. Since 2016, the tower has seen a large increase in visitation because of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and subsequent election—both his 2016 and 2020 campaigns were headquartered in the tower.

The W's SLS
The transfer of operations of the W Hotel to SLS Las Vegas along with the operational assumption of the hotel reservations system and the brand’s independence from Starwood’s Tribute Portfolio Hotels & Resorts are the latest in a series of changes to the resort since Alex Meruelo acquired the property. W Hotels was launched in 1998 with W New York, a conversion of the former Doral Inn hotel on Lexington Avenue, Manhattan. It quickly became popular as a New York City nightclub. Identifying a gap in the market, Barry Sternlicht, CEO of Starwood Hotels 1995–2005, created the brand that popularized the lifestyle hotel concept of focusing on fashion and design. This included dark, muted colors, brushed metal, hotel staff in black T-shirts rather than white jackets, tasteful photographs, and a trendy bar. His demand for all-white bedding required manufacturers to develop white fabric that stayed clean without weekly dry cleaning.

The earlier W's in the U.S. were cutting edge renovations of existing hotels within the Starwood group. Replacing the lobby with the "living room" concept, where guests could gather at the bar, differed from the traditional hotel. Although W receives credit for the idea, the underlying concept was once common. In the 1800s, the lobby provided a social gathering point in most communities. In earlier eras, the bar was often unseparated from the lobby. However, the aspirational, stylish, modern, and very strong design identity was W's unique feature. In 2001, Starwood added W New York - Times Square, a design model for the rapid expansion of properties in the United States over the next decade.

In following new trends, the challenge was to find the right balance between style, newness, attitude and profitability. Guests sought more than the cookie-cutter styles that had previously defined luxury and branded properties. The edgy W brand evolved with consumers. The demographics of early guests steered the W’s rise into the luxury hotel tier. It incorporated popular culture, contemporary design, and a certain casual irreverent attitude.

It was named after Thomas Pink, an eighteenth-century tailor in Mayfair, London. In 1999 it was sold to Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, which paid about €48 million for 70% of the company. In 2012 Thomas Pink launched legal proceedings in the UK against Victoria's Secret, which was marketing lingerie under the label "Pink"; Thomas Pink claimed Victoria's Secret was infringing on its trademarks, confusing customers and tarnishing its image pursuant to the Trade Marks Act 1994. Although Victoria's Secret attempted to raise a number of defenses including revocation for non-use, and attacking the validity of the marks for descriptiveness and lack of distinctiveness, in July 2014 in the High Court of England and Wales Judge Colin Birss ruled in Thomas Pink's favor. Victoria's Secret, which is owned by L Brands, is making efforts to protect its trademarks in the United States, where the British trademark ruling did not have any effect.

In 2018 the company made an operating loss of £23.5 million. In 2019 it changed its brand name to Pink Shirtmaker.

Station Casinos is an American hotel and casino gaming company based in the Las Vegas suburb of Summerlin South, Nevada, and founded by Frank Fertitta Jr. Station Casinos, along with Affinity Gaming, Boyd Gaming and Golden Entertainment, dominate the locals casino market in Las Vegas. The company purchased several sites that were gaming-entitled, meaning that major casinos can be built at that location without additional approvals. The company started out as a locals casino operator on July 1, 1976, founded by Frank Fertitta Jr. Its first casino was the Bingo Palace, which was later renamed Palace Station. On December 4, 2006, Fertitta's sons, Frank Fertitta III and Lorenzo Fertitta, and Colony Capital LLC, operating as Fertitta Colony Partners, made a highly leveraged offer to purchase all existing shares at $82 per share and take the company private. The Fertitta brothers, their sister Delise Sartini, and Blake L. Sartini, her husband, with a combined investment of $870.1 million, purchased a 25% stake in Fertitta Colony Partners. Colony Capital contributed $2.6 billion for a 75% share.

On July 28, 2009, Station Casinos filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Station Casinos' filing listed $5.7 billion in assets against $6.5 billion in debt. The filing said the company had 510 holders of unsecured and subordinate debt totaling $4.4 billion.

Station Casinos exited bankruptcy on June 17, 2011, with $4 billion less in debt and with creditors putting the company's 18 casinos back in the hands of the Fertitta family and their partners. The Fertitta brothers agreed to put nearly $200 million in the reassembled company and now own 45 percent of its shares. The other new equity owners include the company's main lenders, Deutsche Bank AG, which holds 25 percent; JPMorgan Chase with a 15 percent stake; and former bondholders with an additional 15 percent, according to lawyers on the deal.

Station Casinos announced on October 13, 2015, that it would return to the stock market with an initial public offering. On April 26, 2016, Red Rock Resorts, Inc., a new holding company owning a portion of Station Casinos, went public on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.

On May 10, 2016, Station Casinos agreed to purchase the Palms Casino Resort for $313 million.
