Cristina Reding - 2020 Women's History Month theme is “Valiant Women of the Vote.” The theme celebrates "the brave women who fought to win suffrage rights for women, and for the women who continue to fight for the voting rights of others."

Aroma Retail's founder, Cristina Reding, is one of these brave women. She was born and raised under communist oppression in Bucharest, Romania where even the simplest of

life's necessities were scarce. At just 17 years old in 1989, she actively participated in protests during the Romanian revolution against communism--protests that often included military intervention and gunfire in the streets. She migrated to the US in 1996 as a professional ballet dancer and model. Even with English being her third language, she quickly became a US citizen. Today, Cristina teaches teachers at UNLV how to help migrant children who speak other languages from all over the world. She also owns the fastest-growing fragrancing company in the world that supports women through philanthropy and employment diversity.
